Happy Ramadan
We would like to wish Happy Ramadan to all our families who are celebrating and fasting this month. Our children will be learning about Ramadan and its significance, as well as exploring books related to this special time. We are also excited to host an Eid Party for the children at the end of the month—details and the confirmed date will be shared soon!
Red Nose Day
We are excited to be taking part in Red Nose Day fundraising by hosting a Bluey-themed cake sale at the nursery on Thursday 20th and Friday 21st March! All proceeds will go to Comic Relief. We kindly ask children to wear something red to nursery on the day to show their support!
Staffing Update
We are delighted to welcome back Ilse, our Preschool Room Leader, who has returned from maternity leave. Her little one has also joined our baby room! Additionally, we would like to welcome back Gulsah, our Business Development Manager, who has also returned with her baby, now part of the baby room too!
St Patricks Day
On Friday 15th March, we will be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at nursery. Children are encouraged to wear green as we learn all about this festive occasion through fun activities!
Nappy Brand Change
After careful research and positive feedback from parents and staff, we are pleased to inform you that, from April 2025, we will be switching to Aldi Mamia nappies. This change will not only maintain high-quality care but also help us allocate nursery costs towards additional resources for children's play and learning.
Mother’s Day
We invite all mothers or carers to join us on Thursday 27th March from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM for a special stay-and-play session, along with some delicious treats! We look forward to celebrating with you.
Safeguarding
This month, our Quality Support Officer from Head Office will be visiting the nursery to carry out a safeguarding audit alongside our Early Years Professionals. We continuously train our team through in-house sessions and online training to ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times. We encourage you to take a look at our safeguarding policies, available in the reception area, to see how we prioritise and uphold the highest safeguarding standards.
Gentle Reminders
• Security Notice: Please do not hold the doors open for others when entering the building. All parents must enter using the biometric system for security reasons.
• Safeguarding Policy: Mobile phone use is not permitted within the nursery setting to ensure the safety and privacy of all children.
